Friday in the early morning, my mom, sister and I drove to my grandparents house in Wisconsin to spend some holiday time together since we were not together on Thanksgiving. We always like to plan a little activity to do when we visit. This time we went to a glass fusing class and made Christmas Tree ornaments! It was in Hayward, WI, called The Glassy Lady. Hayward is such an adorable little town complete with old fashion candy store and bakery. I made 3 ornaments – a snowman, a green ornament and a present! They look a bit rough in the picture, but when they are fired the glass will melt and round out a bit. I can’t wait to see them in a week or see. Check back to see my end ornaments.

After our art projects, we headed over to the candy store. We picked up some salt water taffy and salted caramel chocolate balls. YUM.

Now, back to the shopping. I’m guilty, I went to Old Navy on Thanksgiving evening. 50% off, I couldn’t resist. I got 2 crew neck sweaters, a polka dot button up, holiday sleep shorts, a pair of black jeans and a striped tee. love it all. I did pick up my first gift of the season as well! I made a quick run over to Michael’s Craft store to pick up some little DIY things.

I want to embellish the collar of one of the sweaters I bought. I’m pretty excited about it. Check back
Friday I am thankful for my grandparents. They are such caring and loving people and I wish I saw them more.
Saturday – my final thankful for! You can read each day’s thankfuls here. Today – I am thankful for so many things I can’t even pick one. My family, friends, health, job, home, blog. I am thankful for it all.
I hope you have found a few things to be thankful for this month too!
till next time, b.
